the way home.jpg Day 6 – Wookie Hole. Goodbye Glastonbury, hello London

Woke up early, had shower, packed up, got me and steve’s stuff ready to rock and roll by the time people had just started putting down their tents. Suckers. I went to the bathroom and came back only to discover that scott mogwai mozza and warren had already gone home. Bastards. Didn’t even say good bye. Slightly fuming, the rest off us headed to the Wookey hole, a valley in the middle of Wells where things are rather shiny and the cavern is rather awesome and awesome it was. Me, nikki alamac bromleyben thedude straylight and steve spent over an hour just walking through this fantasy-esque caverns around us. Well lit and very very very pretty. We had enough time to come up with a theory, that every gay man in London was separated from each other sexually by a maximum of about 4 degrees, and it was well and truly proven that day too. Scary.

We emerged on the other side of the caverns, walking though a fun filled dinosaur show thingy. We ended up going through a hall of mirrors (I banged my head against one by moving too fast in one direction and going SMACK into the glass. Hehehehe… we also found a Zoltar fortune teller, and it told Justin some rather scary stuff. Hmm.. Would have to think about that too later. There was also a hall of mirrors, one of them I swore I would get placed in my room for reasons I am sure some people can guess if they’ve known me long enough*sigh* I am so vain.

Finally there was an old arcade right at the end, where they used old pennies to play. It was fantastic. I practically cleaned out over there and everything. The games were bloody addictive too, and you never felt like you were losing real money either. It was such a blast and I loved the hole… hmm.. that didn’t sound right.

We came out a few hours later laughing our heads off at the fun filled activities, and me and steve decided to bugger off then back to London, waving goodbye to the rest of the crew. *sigh* I will miss them so. This time it didn’t take us long at all to get back, and we were back in London by about 6. He dropped me off at Northfields, where I was staying with a couple of friends for the night before I headed back home to face the music. I’ll tell you guys about that bit later. At the moment, I am just glad I’ve done all the days and want to fill it in really quick before my uncle comes and kicks me off.

So so ended the camping trip. Next up, Summary of what I felt and went through there! Might post that omorrow though.. so keep tuned if you really want to know!
