warren.jpg Day 5 – Sunday at the Abbey and Bristol

Another late morning start, got up, stretched for a bit, everyone else was as lazy as I was (far too much night partying for any of us at all, including me the non drinker/smoker). abeneplacito and I did a bit more technique practicing after me and nikki and I had a go at penalties (which I lost by a STUIPID MOVE! GAH!) alamac bromleyben and punkasspuppy joined us for a bit as well, and we did all sorts of exercises ranging from trust excersises to contemporary dance to backflips and my trusty Dodge Roll™. We were sore afterwards but it felt rather nice I must say.

To top it off we all started driving around the campsite, and I drove my first automatic – after a short lesson with steve in his car. Sunin was a little scared at my amazing speeding and stuff, and even scott scared me with his rather good skills at it. I had just started driving the Dom’s Dieseal when the Camp lady came and told us off.*sniff* ho well.

We headed into town, going to the Abbey where apparently there was a cute Archer guy. There wasn’t. He was ugly. Even past my standards. They were just being filthy gayers. On the plus side, I turned out to be really freaking awesome at arrow shooting and stuff. straylight was a little weak, puppy had a good shot range, warren had done it before, and scott had one hell of a pull!

Also, there were other things there like people with herbs, weaponry, food.. it was rather awesome over there. I enjoyed myself! Hehehe straylight had chainmail on and looked like he was about to die! LOL!

We headed up to the fish pond (where we found out about punkasspuppy’s fear of fishes hehehehee) and then back to one of the old chapels, -where scott and Warren said they felt ley lines again – and then found ourself in an old crypt under the chapel.

Now here’s the weird bit. I don’t know what this memory means, but my earliest Christian memory was of me, being baptised over a large altar in an underground chapel. And finding that crypt sparked that memory SO hard. It was like I was back there again, 4 years old and waiting to be baptised with my mother again. It came so hard and fast I think I nearly lost my heart there. It was… weird. Glastonbury did something odd to me that day, it isn’t really normal for such a memory to come back so vivid and strong at all.

Anyway, we left the abbey, and headed back to the campsite to grab punkasspuppy’s stuff to head off to Bristol. I had never been so jumped at the opportunity to go, and with thedude and scott we headed off. Bristol wasn’t my favourite city: it reminded me far too much of Leeds, and I was spat on over there! But puppy’s place as nice, and even though him and dom weren’t speaking much when we got there, when we went to the pub it was like they were old friends. I sat and watched the two of them chatting wildly about silly times and silly things and I couldn’t help but smile. It always makes me happy when Dom isn’t being the quiet type. He has a wild streak about him that I find myself rather addicted to, and everytime I see it it make me giggle like a little girl.

Puppy “Lloyd, I had an opionon about you before I met you. From your picture, I thought you were a quiet, annoying, egotistic, boring little fucker. Now I know you are a loud, energetic, free spirited man and I am very thankful that you aren’t what I thought you would be.”

Thanks a lot pup. I think…

We left him and his friend Hayden (I think that was his name anyway) then bugged off back to Bristol to get some sleep. I didn’t stay up long again, I had to pack up the next day all by myself and wasn’t looking forward to that. So waving go
