another one in the space of a week?
Lloyd updating so early after his last one? but.. but.. why?Well becasue to be honest stuff has happened right after the Camping trip that I KNOW I will forget to put in my journal when i update it again at the end of the month. soo... YOU GUYS GET A SECOND ENTRY YAHOOO!
right.. lets start where I left off: I had just gone to a friends place to sleep for a day, then was returning home on wednesday. Right.
Ok, I knew the family was back, and everyone was back home, so going home early would mean I would have to face the music and explain my positioning. So I arrived well into the morning, with everyone out doing morning stuff, and was going to go have a nice relaxing sleep till nightfall, but decided to check how everyone else was doing in IRC. Big mistake.
“Hey Lloyd, wanna come to camdem town?”
“what.. now?”
"Warren and zaty will be there"
“Ho what the heck.”
So, two hours after I got back home, I found myself back at scotts place. David and Scott’s James where there, as was mogwai mozza and abeneplacito. We waited for zaty (keeping ourselves occupied with yet another viewing of ‘Once more with Feeling’ buffy episode – Joss Whedon owns our sorry little asses.. although he is kinda cute in a way.. hmm..) and upon his arrival, we buzzed off to Camden town!
I must say the place hasn’t changed since the last time I got there. Very dark, urban market. Way too much goth stuff. Not enough cute chinese clothes for men that I can one day buy and see if I look as good as bruce Lee in it.. We walked around after a very cheap lunch (zaty managed to con the lady into giving us all heaps for 2 pounds each hehehehe) and Mozza bought a bong.. which he is still not sure as to how to use it, but I am sure it will come eventually.
We sat in a little tea house at the top of a store where I promptly fell asleep thanks to my exhaustion form traveling so much (really sorry guys) then, after waving goodbye to the rest of them, me and Mozz headed off to Richmond to drop me off at my D&D session.
Ok.. now just to clarify, I was tired, I wa ssleepy, and I was in no mood to make sense. So, It wasn’t EXACTLY my fault that me giving directions to him somehow managed to get him to drive all the way BACK to Scotts house (where we had a little chat with TJ, then onto the M25 all the way round till we got back to Richmond thanks to traffic. What did I tell ya? Magnet of travelling fuckups. Thats me.
On the plus side, I got to spend about 5 hours with Mozza. He isn’t half bad at all! Rather easy going than I had thought. We didn’t really chat a lot during the trip, but we did in the car. I like him. He’s cute.
And he made the car bounce while we were listening to Linkin Park. He’s paractically my best friend right now :D!
Anyway he dropped me off 3 hours late (*sigh*) and bugged off. I went in, played some games, said goodbye to one of us who was leaving forever (Sofie, I will miss you girl....) and headed back home to get some sleep.
Then the whole family explanation thing happened, which cleared up thanks to sweet ol uncle of awesomeness, and life returned to normal.
Right. one more thing: The birthday
This friday was RobL and Scareglow’s birthday, and me, not wanting to miss out on such a festive occasion (and becasue I didn’t want to help my cousins move stuff around all day, popped down to see them! And I must say it was hilarious. the body count is WAY too high to list here for once, so only special mentions today people.
I got to me silent newcomer ric who didn’t stay for very long, but was a rather nice chap who needs to freakout with us a bit more becasue we are awesome. cockaigne turned up from gloustershire which was a hoot as he’s so cool with his music lessons and alll (jealous.. envious...) not to mention he got to get really really drunk and prance around! kee was there, which is a great gift as he can drive me home.. only he didn’t bring his car..
