ITS THE TRUTH! (clicky)
ITS THE TRUTH!
Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls! Its a new year, a new dawn, a new set of 365 days to do nothing but PARRRRRRRRRTY! And, yes, its me, Lloyd, here with my new year Journal entry of pure awesomenesseseses (tm). And boy have we had a rather bizarre turn of the year. Things have gone from bad to worse for some people, for others its gone from great to appalling, and for me, well, its just been one crazy rollercoaster after another. Woopie!

Right. Everyone always complains these entries are far too long for them to bother reading (which is good, because I tend to be rather bitchy about stuff in them through no fault of my own, and to be honest, I tend to write them for fun more than anything else) so I’ll see if I cant simplify this month’s activities to only a few pages. It will not be epic like the end of year or a Camping Entry. Ok? Good boys. Lets get started

When we last left off, I was getting myself mentally prepared for the moment of doom: Owen’s new year’s party. A place known very well for the crazy antics, badly coloured ceiling, cunning use of radiators at specific times and the lack of dressed individuals after the stroke of midnight. As I had promised him a few months before that I would be there, I swallowed my pride, cancelled the other engagements I could have been at (aka straylight and gaz party), and got myself all ready to rock and roll! Naturally, I assumed I’d just hide behind scott and sunin as they might not possibly be getting involved, and party the rest of the night away! Whohoo! So with a quick excuse to the folks, I dashed down to scott to meet scott sunin and mogwai (with is +1) and we all bugged up to Owens.

Owen the man of the hour himself was, of course awaiting with open arms. Along with mage mattnottm abeneplacito elfy moogal peter (OMG!) Zaty kee (who is just plain awesome) RobL mojen bump and various other people I cannot seem to remember. Someone remind me later who was there? Please? Thanks!

Anyway, it started off with a bit of a bang – I was banned from jumping because the flat was about

this close to falling apart... and a bouncy Lloyd is a Baaaaaaad Lloyd. So I sulked a bit and socialised with an Oj in hand. Met my first ever deaf person named robert... it was like an MSN conversation thanks to his pad and pen, which was quite fun. We had bets of how long it would be before owen got naked. I had it at ‘the stroke of midnight’. He had it at one minute past.

We both lost. He didn’t lose any clothes at all the whole time. Which sucked. Midnight came, and we all toasted to a new and fresh new year, with new hopes, new dreams, new ideals. Something odd happened as the year struck: a feeling I have had for a VERY long time – pretty much the whole year before – immediately disappeared with the coming of the stroke to midnight. Of course, thanks to circumstances of that month it was probabbly going away anyway, but it had not really left until that very moment. Odd. And it wasn’t the first time it had happened to me either. Heh. Emotions do suck.

I made sure Robert went to bed next to a passed out Warren, then headed for Owen’s room to occupy the bed, as someone had given a VERY drunk sunin the remote control. Que the Wikfield.

Somehow, by some twist of fate Owen’s room turned from the sleeze fest domain that everyone knows it as, to a room of amazing intellectual discussion (amid me groping mattnottm suddenly to make him feel awkward – muhahaha!) I lay on the bed next to a sleepy matt, and spoke about a world of things with kee (in the voyeur seat) scott, RobL, and sometimes Jen and Mogwai (who was having some kind of problem with the wife). It was a VERY funny night. Nothing at all like the rumours spread around IRC seem to say at all! The wa

Random Thought: is it wrong if someone says something like 'well, how about me and you go for dinner tonight, then sit quietly in the sofa snuggling for a bit, then,
