February (and a bit of march

Remember people, my memory sucks, so anything cool happen you have to tell me so I can remember to put it in! Now let’s start from the top.

Right.. I’ve been attending quite a few thingboxthingys this month, but what really started me off on this addiction was the thingbox coffee meet down the road at muswell hill in some AWESOME café. Thingbox, as some of you know, is the other website created by Alex and Jamie from out where loads of people post a lot of times and drive me up the wall with the fact that the forums are always full of something different the very second I look away. (I mean, seriously, it’s so freaking hard to keep track of whats going on! I have to post and never thing again on what I posted and where because I’ll probably never find it now! Grrr!).

Anyway, I bumped in there to say hi to my first ever fresh thingbox people, had a bit of funky food and was very random to everyone I met:

Lloyd: I hope you guys have finally realised that I am now certain that the oystercard is in theory better than sex

Oli: Well Lloyd, that could mean you are either having really depressing sex or amazing Oyster…

Made a few friends, etc etc… as there isn’t that many thingboxers on here I won’t go into details (that and the fact that I can’t remember it very well), but we finished and headed our separate ways to meet later in the week.

Smess’ birthday soon came through on Wednesday, and had us all dress like chavs. (bittersweet was remarkably good as he got stopped in Lewisham by police)). I met more thingboxers in the corner, and was my random, awesome self once again. (Garry/chickenlittle: if you ever read this, I LOVE YOU MAN!), bounced around a bit at thingboxers and FCs in general, and got invited yet again to the swimming event. (*sigh*). Jimmy got horribly drunk and had a bit of an incident outside the pub that got him barred from retro indefinitely (also indirectly lead to abeneplacito’s disappearance from here, but lets not delve too deeply in other people’s business shall we?)

The first weekend of February also brought about the first ever Thingbox party. But it also coincided with sunin coming to b0p for the weekend, and, realising it was hard being in two places at once, I decided to try a new tactic: Speak with one person for an hour, then run across town to the thingbox party, get horribly random, then come back. It was a perfect plan! Really! Honest!

Made even better that only scott sunin and cockaigne turned up that Friday anyway*whew*

So I did it. Bugged down there to find zaty and monty already there being random and awesome.. met a few people who aren’t on here and aren’t worth me showing the links to their names (errorfeld, garry, hulking, etc), then came back to see the guys. Eventually, sunin got wasted and requested I take him there to meet cute people… and so I did (I missed the huge cake they had though! No one spared any for me whaaaaaa!) and sunin and monty decided to become rather loud and annoying… so I got him out of there as fast as I could.

Ended up going back to scott’s that night (note to sunin – no matter how much fun you think you’re having, running at the top of a double decker bus while its moving is the worst idea ever. Eating the bits of chicken that have fallen down thanks to your dramatic tumble across half the bus isn’t a good idea either. But lets keep that to ourselves mmkay?) For some music an well needed rest.

In the morning, we were bored, tired, and everyone was feeling ill… so we all decided to try and get thedude and straylight to come down to Sarfend with us (with failed proceedings.. but<
