I don't want anybody else..

March. Month of the green eyed monster

WHOHOO! I am so lame!

I cannot believe that I have not bothered to make a single journal entry till practically halfway down into April! I suck!

Not to worry, that is all going to change right now… because I’m back in business and you guys have yet another brand spanking new journal entry to feast your sexy eyes on!.. as soon as I remember not to type it up in word…

[a week later]

Which I am doing right now. Damn. Ho well. Well right now I’ve got the family over, so I will sadly not be able to do much funny anecdotes and references to crazy shit that’s been happening around the place lately, but hey, you win some you lose some. At least I got something out! Right lets get to it!

In terms of my online life, much as gone downhill with the whole work/university/everythinghappeningatonce thing going on. The same can be said for my once exuberant and amazingly occupying D&D career. Having gone from something like 3 games a week to 1 a fortnight seems to have finally taken its toll on me, and I can feel myself losing interest.

Fortunately, my trusty “Ormgas”:http//:www.ormgas.com have decided to bail me out, by hosting a bi-weekly DnD campaign with an intriguing plot and scantly clad women thrown in for good measure.

Problem with this? Its at 4 in the morning on Sunday.

Greaaaat.

I have made a few now, having somehow found myself awake BY 4 in the morning and hence might as well play, but it is getting tedious. Not to mention its rare that someone will be awake to talk to online at that time either.

Anyway, that’s just a small point really. I don’t usually talk of my geeky games in here, but I thought I’d note that down for a bit. That and the fact that I am looking forward to the one I’m playing with Warren this Saturday. It will finalise my verdict in general.

Right. For my first ever week of march I had a hectic time going for me. It starts with the wedding of the Century. Yes. This month, my surprise thing that I have never done before: go to a gay wedding. YAY!

Tony and Tavis, old DnD pals from a short while ago (see why I started with DnD now?) two chubs of their own accord, finally decided to get hitched permanently. So a wedding (I don’t care what anyone calls it. I am NOT calling it a Civil Partnership! Don’t ruin my dreams!), was orgnaised, with Tavis’ family and friends flying in from the states, and Tony’s family and friends flying down from.. uh.. Plymouth.

Me having nothing better to do, dragged straylight along to my first ever gay wedding extravaganza! YAY! WHOHOO!

After a short walk through wandsworth town, we came to the place to find that they had hired the whole back garden of a pub, complete with large tent thingy with heaters and abundant food, not to mention free drinks at the bar (only alcoholic though:’(). Naturally Tavis was running around organising as much as he could, while Tony kept up appearances by being friendly in that sweet sort of way that he always does. Crazy kid.

I naturally kept myself occupied by doing what Tavis had told me not to do over the phone:

(a few months before the wedding)

Tavis: Lloyd, you know you’re coming to the wedding right?

Lloyd: yeah… what?

Tavis: well you are officially not allowed to come to the wedding unless you bring a guy. Preferabbly a hot guy according to Tony’s views.

Lloyd: wha..

Tavis: no bullshit Lloyd, I know you. You’ll end up flirting with Sofie and all the American girls again. BRING A GUY!

Lloyd: FINE FINE! I won’t flirt with the girls..

Nice tavis. Then put me and Justin on the only seat with about 5 girls and not expect me to try and be enteraining. Thanks a lot.

The wedding itself was beautiful though. I complained to the cameraman (rusty his name was. Quite awesome), about how I didn’t understand why someone would have a wedding in the middle of march when it was freezing, which he recoreded with a glee in his eye that made me worry where that tape would end up. A few other people I ha
