What’s Ho hum? The smell of a prostitute?
Just got back. A one day trip to the chanel islands (not to buy perfume or couture but to work) turned into two. Obviously I had no inkling that that might happen so no change of clothes and nowhere to buy clothes. So sitting here in two day old pants looking like a tramp. No wonder everyone on the plane was looking at me funny.I feel kind of discriminated against. They wouldn’t ask certain other people to stay over an extra day on the spot like that. They make allowance for people with young children or families which is fair enough but my children are fish and they need looking after too- I can barely keep them alive as it is, children would be dead within weeks- or in social services care. The fish probably think they live in an aquatic concentration camp with the patchy feedings and poor quality of life. Anne Frank fish is living in the little underwater wardrobe writing boring diaries.
I guess work just assumes that I don’t have a life worth bothering about or I’m a fool and far to eager to put myself out for them. Maybe something will change or be changed soon.
The most annoying thing is living by Heathrow and having to travel to Gatwick on the first tube/bus etc. to get an early morning flight. If you can’t fly from Heathrow then its probably not worth going is my advice.
