WORK!!!!!!
Well, started my new job yesterday. Commis chef for a local restaurant. Shitty right now, doing pot-wash and prep, but even if I was higher up, it’d need doing, just wish I didn’t do it as often! But learning my way around the kitchen and doing more cooking as I learn my way round. 3 shifts next week, same the week after, full time in september. Employer is even sending me to catering college!Such a career change, but I’m loving it. No typing, no personal interface – just good old-fashioned hard work and a bloody good challenge! Bring it on!
My feet ache like hell, but that’s 12hs on them for you lol But I wouldn’t give it up for the world, because now I really have the opportunity to work myself from the bottom up and then everything I have will have been achieved by me and not a hand-out. New car in 2 months, new pad in 5 – can’t wait! Start my degree September next year in engineering and mathematics, can’t wait for that either!
Random Thought: Maybe by the time I’m 30, I’ll know what I’m doing
