Times a Changin!
I’ve not long got off the fone to Nige. I helped him with a BBC quiz I’ve just done about the sex of your brain. I came out slightly female....don’t know why really....actually that’s a lie.....I answered all the logical ones correctly...I answered about knwing about maps, shapes, not caring about emotions, being all blokey and shit and cos I put in that I like willies..it automatically assumed that I like floristry and “am at one with my feelings”....I now hate the BBC even moreI’ve seem my family lots today. My baby niece, Holly, is getting rather large and loud (just like us all). My mum, dad, me, my sister Michelle and Holly went round Netto shouting....it was fun....it was nice to be back. I couldn’t help feeling how this little baby had brought a family of argumentative brats together and turned them into fun-loving, yet responsible adults. However, then my Dad reversed his car into a lamppost (after talking to the baby) – maybe other things need to be worked on......
....such as my flat. So much for a hard day’s DIY – and I can’t do any tomorrow as I’ll get scorned at by mother as it is mother’s day – another useless invention to cream yet more money from the British public – we shall call it a 'Mother’s Tax'. I do believe in giving my Mum prezzies (when I can afford them) at random or when it’s more special ot poignant. Mother’s day is a bit of a hoax really – this I told my Mum. I made her a card from Nigel’s craft box and said this would be enough. I did get her flowers tho.....I feels as tho im rambling...you get the picture.
Anyway. DIY crap. Hopefully more done tomorrow as I’ll be less hungover in the morning, less tired in the evening and less ill all-round. DIY with a cold is good....I don’t even need a dustmask.
