HURRAH!At last!
Some kind soul was smiling down on us last night!
Like Chelsea and their Premiership triumph (for comparison only, I still support my beloved Villa), after coming third and fourth on numerous occasions, faltering at the last minute after a promising start. This time, we not only won the Rover quiz, but we blew the opposition out of the water with a round to spare!
3 Rounds on General Knowledge, 1 on Children’s books and 1 on Wimbledon and 10 anagrams and we got 64 out of a possible 75, with 2nd and 3rd tying on 53.
The chavs were so upset they booed us, only making me more happier to gloat. One lady asked us when we weren’t coming again. I replied that we weren’t here last time as we were in Spain. How rude of that lady.......sore loser indeed.
