I’m pretending that I know the word’s to White Flag by DidoHmm Dido – Queen of the Carthaginians – I’ve been to Carthage
Carthage was the best thing about Tunisia. The rest of it, as I recall, was being mugged by Arab peasants as we were the only people stupid enough to go in February, telephone calls to the room from the hotel next door to join the disco whilst in bed, and being 1 of only 5 guests in a 300 bedded hotel.
Other events included:-
- Being hijacked (well I thought we had been)
- Losing my passport
- It being cold and foggy
- Getting hit by my ex-boyfriend (always a fond holiday memory)
Sometimes you look back at events that have happened before, despite how bad your life seems now and then it all falls into place. Comparisons seem needless. Even when life is good you can look back and see how GOOD it really is.
