Appendicectomy
Muchos fun today at work. I’ve been busier in the past two days than I have for the past two months. What’s even better is that Lou announced to everyone today that she will also be handing in her resignation, this following a convo I had with the Crow about her being “run ragged” and “completely overwhelmed” with work.My post is being advertised as HER assistant. Methinks Eith is washing his hands of us and having her as the font of all NHS information knowledge.
She sat there today, finishing off my sentences, butting in, flicking her horsey locks and jostling her jowls like a blancmange on a trampoline. She won’t have a clue and she’ll try to get shot of it onto her “new assistant” who will end up knowing more about her job than she does. I hope it’s someone with a bit more aggro (mine on the wane as I’ve worked my way up and its always harder to stamp your authority) and will tear her limb from limb and now with Lou going she’ll be stuck with all the crap jobs to do herself.
No doubt she’ll be OK – her sort always get through – like cockroaches
I, on the other hand, will go in to my new job having the fact that no-one knows how I work, to my advantage. My assertiveness now can be asserted more than before as this time I know my stuff, and I’m not going to take any prisoners. I’m sure I won’t have to resort to such tactics but I’m prepared nevertheless.
