I had two more proposals for Data Analysts jobs today on the phone when I came back today. One was working for NPfIT – which has nothing to do with data analysis, but some wanker in the 80s took the phrase to mean “computer fixer” and it was in Kidlington (the largest village in Europe – so I’m told) which is far too far too far for me to walk – and the other I deleted as the man sounded like a poofter.What I didn’t realise that Nigel had accidentally changed the automatic message last night that I left on there when the answerphone kicks in. He still hasn’t quite mastered it yet, and whilst having nature programmes in earshot isn’t the best time to fiddle about with them.
I now have David Attenborough saying in his dulcet tones
“In just a couple of weeks, the chicks have turned into grey bundles of fluff*beep* ”
