Demonic
Probably what will be the last ever Rover quiz for a while. We started pretty slowly and came in a respectable 5th, despite Mr M and I nearly coming to blows with the question “Other than Wales, which country’s flag has a dragon on it?” and for once I got it wrong 😜 – It’s not Nepaland for once I didn’t get the “Alcoholic-Induced-being-lairy-award.” That went to Ns brothers other half. She had a whole bottle of wine and turned from this quiet demure soul with a fondness for children, into an aggressive yob with a fondness for hitting even louder people who were sitting behind us.
Ah well, it shall be sad to let this episode go I suppose.
And so to Wellingborough
had a couple of “detail filling sessions and word tests” at a couple of agencies on Friday and I managed 53 words per minute with a hangover. How good am I?
Muchos buying and muchos work on the flat. I nearly have a windowsill in the kitchen and a working sink – huzzah! I was a little too annoyed at N for falling asleep at every available opportunity. I’m starting to realise why his nickname was Mr Dormouse.
I’ve got a thick, irremovable coating of bathroom sealant, expandable foam, and grout on my hands, despite having a bath last night, and a shower this morning – I look like I’ve got leprosy.
I’m trying in vain to find a link to the flat online, but this computer and this connection are crap at work, so I’ll put in the link and whoever can spot it first gets a free pants pic 😜
When I get home tonight, I can choose whether to paint the bathroom (FOR THE 93587239457298759283th TIME!!! FFS!!!) or to put tiles up, to make a new windowcill for the back bedroom, clear up, wash up, grout something, break something or fanny about in the garden for a while.
I need a holiday. I think Ns booked something. I sincerely hope so. Hopefully something we can’t afford like a month in the Bahamas.
