Strange
Have found out that a good friend of mine has made a racist comment about my boyfriend. Ok, yes I am a good old white little Welsh girl brought up in the valleys where it is unlikely that you will ever bump into anyone who isn’t white, welsh, christian etc etc. But that doesn’t excuse his behaviour, esp seeing as he is not welsh, and has only lived in deepest darkest wales for about a year or so.The thing about my man is that although his mother is Asian and his Father is white, he still is probably more Welsh than I am! He speaks Welsh better than I do, has lived in the valleys all his life, and knows more about Welshness than I do.
I never thought that one of my close friends could ever spit ‘Oh well, at least I am white’ in such a pathetic and childish manner. It’s just pointless, makes little sense, and makes him look like an idiot.
Sorry, bit of a jumbled up rant, as am still trying to get my thoughts in order.
