Well it was Brighton Pride last weekend, and what a delightful weekend it was. The sun was shining for all of 12 minutes before the downpour started, it didn’t relent for over a day. Joyous, I had a good time though, went down with some old friends, watched the parade, was highly amused that the gay conservatives were a lot hotter than the gay labour party boys on the floats (the less said about the greens and the lib-dems the better, Eurlgh!), popped into an off license and then on to the Preston Park festivities. It only started to rain after we arrived at the park and then didn’t stop until we got back to London later the same evening. Saw a hell of a lot of familiar faces in the park, most of the London gays seemed to be down, saw a couple of people I hadn’t seen Last modified: Monday, March 16th, 2026 at 4:39am
