Oh.
I should probably mention what I’ve been up to as well.Last weekend, Mum and Andy came over for a fun packed bank holiday weekend of extreme sports (well, there was walking) and hospitalisations (well, I got a cold).
We walked from Zoologischer Garten to Alexanderplatz, went up the big aerial thingy, failed to get access to the reichstag, sailed blissfully through the zoo area unaware a woman was being eaten by a polar bear inside and generally ate well and chilled out. Found some amazing metally bits in a squat, as well as a TV with running water. Found a beach in the Berlin wall. Was an amazingly action packed weekend and a great time was had by all. We decided that none of us really knew what we expected Berlin to be like when we arrived but that it wasn’t like anything we’d thought it’d be.
Cold icky. Most of Monday in bed (apart from a 4 hour cycle ride to try and motivate myself to do something). Still felt crap Tuesday so called in sick and flopped around the flat doing bugger all pretty much. Felt a little better yesterday so came back to work, same today. Flying home tomorrow to chill out for the weekend I hope. Miss London and miss Liam.
